Edmund Joseph Connolly Jr. was born on May 23,1941, to Edmund J. Connolly Sr. and Alice (Reddington) Connolly in Milton, MA. He passed away on January 2, 2026, due to complications of Alzheimer's.

Ed was a Double Eagle having attended Boston College High School and Boston College graduating with an Economics degree.

He met Dianne Kathryn Wagner while serving in the US Army as a 1st Lieutenant, they married in 1965, and had four sons, Edmund J(oe) Connolly III, Michael Connolly, Matthew Connolly, and Christian David Connolly.

Ed worked for Eastman Kodak for most of his life. He had a love of Photography, Sailing , Cape Cod, and Speed Skating. He participated in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah as a Speed skating corner judge.

He is survived by Dianne, his four Sons, five Granddaughters and his Brother, William Reddington Connolly.
