Edward L. Pingel, 60 passed away on January 16, 2025 at home. Ed was born on June 12, 1964, in Shawano, Wi to the late Duaine Pingel and Victoria Stevens. Ed lived in the Neenah-Menasha area before moving to Arkansas City, Kansas where he met and married Bell Pingel.

Ed was employed by Pizza Hut as the area manager and oversaw multiple stores. In 2010, he was awarded a Governor's Commendation by Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry for his outstanding work with the Governor's Disability Employment Program.

He was kindhearted and always wanted to help others. Ed was also an animal lover and over the years had numerous dogs and cats.

Ed is survived by his brother Eugene Pingel, and his sisters Tina Smythe and Laura Pettit.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bell Pingel, his mother and father, brothers Elvis Pingel, and Duaine "Wayne" Pingel II, and a sister, Christina Pingel.

A private funeral will be held in Ed's honor.
