Eileen A. Hayward, 81, De Pere, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday evening September 8, 2016. She was born September 14, 1934 to the late Henry and Joyce (Blank) Baldauf. She met the love of her life John "Red" Hayward, who she later married at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fond du Lac on October 18, 1952. John worked at a grocery store across from her home. Eileen lived her early years in Fond du Lac, raising her children there. She and John moved to De Pere in 1974. She enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching, and was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family. Eileen had worked at The Lee Store before working at Shopko Offices, retiring in 1996.
She is survived by her children; Cheri (Larry) Doring, Scottsdale, Az., Jeff (Debbie) Hayward, Ashwaubenon, Colleen (Jim) Teal, Stiles, WI., and Teresa (Andrew) Nemchek, Ashwaubenon. Eileen is further survived by her grandchildren; Keith, Tyler, Shane, Shawn, Ashley, Justin, Ryan, Bradley, Rachael, Sarah, Katie, Jessica, Andrew, Megan, and her two great grandchildren Rory, and Alex. Her brother Joseph (Mary) Baldauf, and two sister s in law Sharon Baldauf and Elda "Chuck" Hayward, as well as numerous and nephews survive her.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1994, her daughter Debi, and her son Robert.
She was further prededed in death by her brother Richard Baldauf, brother in law Donald Hayward and her "Sister" Margie Mommaerts.
Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Dr. in De Pere from 4:00 PM 7:00 PM on Sunday September 11, 2016. Visitation will continue after 9:00 AM Monday at the church until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM with Fr. Benny Jacob O.Praem officiating and Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen assisting.
