Elaine E. Taddy, 85 of Sturgeon Bay passed away peacefully on Monday November 30, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born December 31, 1923 in Manitowoc to the late Frank and Helen (Bonk) Charneski. Elaine graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a degree in statistics. She then went on to get her teaching degree from Silver Lake College. Elaine went on to teach 3rd grade at C.C. Cass Elementary School in Two Rivers for over twenty years. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of De Pere. Elaine is survived by her children; Jean (Lee) Stock, and John (Gail) Taddy, as well as three grandchildren; David, Daniel, and Emily, and her sister Audrey Stehlik. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Hunstiger, and her brother in law Richard Stehlik. Friends may call after 9am Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the First United Presbyterian Church 605 N.
