Eleanor Ann Konrath, 94, went to join the Angel's Choir on Saturday morning, June 5, 2021. The daughter of Paul and Clara (Boehler) Konrath was born on March 2, 1927.
Eleanor grew up the oldest of six children, and graduated from St. Joseph Academy. Out of high school, she worked at T&J Automotive in De Pere. She also worked at St. Vincent Hospital "for a minute" before becoming Shopko's second employee as an accountant. She was at Shopko for nearly four decades.
Very dedicated to her faith, Eleanor was a long time member of the St. Joseph and Our Lady of Lourdes Choir, as well as a communion distributor. Eleanor enjoyed traveling all over the United States with her family. She looked forward to her Tuesday evening family dinners before choir practice.
Eleanor is survived by her sisters, Geneva Cieslewicz and Mary Van Dyck; sisters-in-law Elaine Konrath and Marianne Konrath; nieces and nephews, Robert (Glenda) Konrath, Paul (Carol) Konrath, Monica (Billy) Hogue, Kurt (Kathy) Konrath, Mary (John) Brese, Patricia White, Dave (Lori) Cieslewicz, Joe (Becky) Cieslewicz, Gary Cieslewicz, Scott (Karen) Cieslewicz, Dan (Judy) Cieslewicz, Monica (Jim) Carlin, Janet (Brian) VanEnkenvoort, Sandy (Joe) Marik, Gini (Dave) LeGreve, Joanna Chandler, George (Lori) Van Dyck, Sharon (Dean) Pavlik and Glen (Michelle) Van Dyck.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Clara; siblings, Alvin Konrath, Sr. Bernard Clare, Marvin Konrath; siblings-in-law Leland Van Dyck and Leonard Cieslewicz.
Family and friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Avenue, De Pere beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
