Eli Andrew Webster, 56, of Oneida passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 8, 2022. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 8, 1966 to Stanley R. Webster and the late Sylvia Lee Beson.
Eli attended West De Pere High School, where he played defense on the football team. Always being a bigger guy, he was very good at it and enjoyed playing. He later worked for and achieved his HSED in 1990. Eli went on to work for the Oneida Bingo Hall, where he made so many great friends and which also made for some great stories. Later on, he worked for the Oneida Nation High School where he enjoyed talking and relating to the kids there. He eventually moved to and worked in Appleton for a few years before coming back home to Oneida.
Eli was a great story teller and always wanted to make people laugh as much as he loved laughing. Getting along with a lot of people, he was known to be a funny guy. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing pool and to go hunting. He would say that he enjoyed the silence of the woods and found it peaceful. Eli liked to go out to eat but loved to cook out on the grill, sit around and just be with family. He was always listening to and looking up all kinds of music but mostly, he loved to hear Stevie Ray Vaughn play.
Eli leaves behind his two children, Abby and Elijah Webster, who he was proud of and loved so much; his three grandchildren Hailey, Jayden and Alexia; his father, Stan (Loretta) Webster; his brothers Richard (Tina) Webster, Pete Webster; step-sister Rae (David) Skenandore; his sister-in-law Lois Domencich; along with his sisters on his mom's side, Sylana and Alanna. He is also survived by his nieces Tanya, Leona and Eva; his nephews Lakwenyahuit, Justin, Zachary, Brandon and Vincent; his good friend Scott King; along with numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Sylvia; his brother Daniel Webster; his sister Sara Saldana; step-brother Lee Domencich; and his grandparents on both sides.
A Visitation will be held from 9 – 11 AM on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 1018 Cedar Street, De Pere. A Service will begin at 11 AM where Bob Brown will be speaking. Burial will follow at the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
