Elizabeth Acquah affectionately called Betty or Aba, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 1, 2019. She was born on February 5, 1970 to John and Theresa (Amissah) Acquah. Elizabeth married Owusu-Bekoe Opoku-Owusu in 1994. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her husband, Owusu-Bekoe Opoku-Owusu; children: Cleo Opoku-Owusu and Anthony Opoku-Owusu; mother, Theresa Acquah; siblings: Dominic (Cheryl) Baffoe and Mary Acquah; and many cousins, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John Acquah. There will be a visitation held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1307 Lourdes Avenue, De Pere, with a service at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Fr. Benny Jacob, O. Praem. Burial will take place following the service in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Elizabeth's name.
