Elizabeth DeMarr, age 89 of Oneida, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2023. She was born in Bowler, WI on September 23, 1933 to Absalom Cooper and Katherine Antone. She attended Pipestone Boarding School, Seymour High School and Flandreau Bording School. Soon after she met Lawrence DeMarr in Chicago and got married.

Elizabeth worked at Lutheran-Deaconess Hospital in Minnesota in housekeeping for many years. Later, after moving back to Wisconsin, she worked in accounting doing data management for the Oneida Nation.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Brenda) DeMarr, Richard DeMarr, and Terry (Tina) Demarr, her brother Bill Cooper, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her ex-husband Lawrence DeMarr, her son Robert DeMarr, and her siblings, Lilian Cooper, Bertha Antone, John Cooper, and Louis Cooper.

Friends and family may come to call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street De Pere, WI from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 10th. A song service by the Onieda Hymn singers will begin at 6:30 P.M. Burial will take place at a later date at Onieda Sacred Burial Ground.
