Ella Sauer, 86, of Oneida, passed away Thursday morning, May 30, 2013 at a local hospital. The daughter of the late Milton and Mildred (Elm) Summers was born June 5, 1926 in Oneida. She married William Sauer on September 3, 1949 at St. Willebrord Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1999. She worked for many years as an LPN at Bellin Hospital. She retired from the Oneida Community Health Center. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Bill Sauer, Tim (Colleen) Sauer, Edith Sauer, John Sauer, eleven grandchildren, Jessica Figura, Mary Vincent, Billy Sauer, Carol Roberts, Elizabeth Pries, Tim Sauer, Jr., Emily Sauer, Nicole Rommel, Aaron Rommel, Cole and Cade Sauer, fifteen great-grandchildren, her siblings, Rita Summers, Noel Cleven, Jan Frion, Arvilla Parsons, Luanne Green, Lynn Summers, Phillip Summers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill, her siblings, Emma Schultz, Lavinia Metoxen, Amanda Summers and Milton Summers, Jr. Family and friends may call at St. Willebrord's Catholic Church, 209 South Adams Street, Green Bay from 9:00 to 10:30 am Saturday June 1, 2013. Oneida Hymn Singing will begin at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at the church with Father Andrew Cribben, O.Praem., officiating.
