Ellen Barbara (Danforth) Martin, age 86, of Hayward, WI, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Ellen was born January 26, 1939, in Waukesha, WI, the only daughter of John and Nancy (Elm) Danforth. She was an active member of the LCO Elder Community, an avid dog lover and a beautiful mother and wife.

She is survived by her husband Vernon Martin; children Christine (Bill), Rhonda, Dawn "Putser" (Guy), Douglas, Connie, Sandy & Rachel (Jose); numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brother Hugh; nieces & nephews.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents John & Nancy; sons Mike, David & Dino; brothers John, Art & Jim; grandchildren Lars & David Jr.; and son-in-law Ed.

A Memorial Service was held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Gary Quaderer Sr. officiated.

An additional service will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 21, at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere, WI. Burial will be in Holy Apostles Cemetery in Oneida, WI.
