Elmer W. "Cochise" Metoxen, 83, Oneida, passed away early Tuesday morning March 3, 2009. He was born May 18, 1925 to the late William and Mary (Webster) Metoxen. Cochise was a mechanic. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the 17th Airborne Division. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. 3 brothers and 3 sisters preceded Cochise in death. Friends may call after 9am (TODAY) Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Oneida United Methodist Church, until the Funeral Service at 11am with Rev. Earl L. Smith officiating burial in the parish cemetery.
