Emerald George Metoxen, Tehanʌnsta?kala‧tats "His arms are raised", 18, passed away unexpectedly in Green Bay, WI on June 22, 2026. He was born in Green Bay, WI on October 25, 2007, to Lunynt Metoxen & Tracy Smith (Webster).
Emerald loved hooping with his bros, watch YouTube videos, eating Mexican food and hanging out with all other friends and family. He attended Fundamentals LLC, a private education institution, for a short period of time which he enjoyed.
Emerald had passion for his dogs. He was in beginning phases of dog breeding, he leaves behind: Smokey, Pablo, Mary Jane, Bender, Bear, Golden and Tiara.
Emerald is survived by his daughter Tiara, his siblings, Tehoknekalastn Vanboxtel-Metoxen (Meriam), Miranda Smith, Jermaine Catfish (LaLana), Nevaeh Catfish, Ciennarae Webster, Emy Metoxen, Ember Metoxen and Albert Danforth, and his nephews, Yanus, Xavier, and Aven. He is further survived by his grandparents Richard & Brenda Baird and George & Barbara Webster, his aunts and uncles Patrick Donley, Sayokla Kindness, Jamison (Angela) Webster, Justin Webster, Todd (Tina) Metoxen, Stacey Metoxen, Kim Metoxen, Arnold (Mary) Metoxen and Raymond Metoxen, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Arnold Metoxen, his uncles, Brian Metoxen, Jeremy Webster, Ranger Christjohn, Yogi Metoxen, Floyd Metoxen, Boyd Flemming, and his aunts Lola Metoxen and Loretta Metoxen, and his dog Major “Old Geiser".
Visitation will take place at the Oneida Longhouse, W370 Reformatory Rd, Seymour, WI from 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2026, to 10:45 am on Monday, June 29, 2026. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with Bob Brown officiating. Burial will take place at Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mark & Chantelle Steeno, Warren & Michelle Demmin, Kasey Christjohn, Gwen Christjohn, Paula Christjohn, firekeepers, drummers and everyone who helped with donations. They would also like to give another special thank you to the pallbearers, Dayton, Jeffery, Benny, Corey, Kingston, Moo, Cayuga, Aiden, Shnate, and Tewan.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations for a memorial fund that will be established for Emerald's unborn child and mother as she is due soon.
No disrespect to anyone who showed up at the fire and were asked to leave!
