Eric Paul Stiles, 52 of De Pere passed away in the loving arms of his wife in the early morning hours of Friday, February 27th, 2026 after several months of a resilient battle with liver cancer. His departure took place at St. Mary's hospital in Green Bay on the same floor he was born and was surrounded by friends and family every day leading up to when his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ called him home.
Eric grew up in Green bay, graduated from Ashwaubenon High before serving his country in the United States Marine Corps as a proud service member at the ready for 4 years of active and 4 years of inactive duty. Together with his wife of 25 years, Tamara, he fathered 3 children while working full time, advancing his education and obtained his associate's degree from NWTC before achieving his Bachelor's of Science degree in electrical engineering from the Milwaukee school of engineering in Madison.
Eric worked hard and he played hard especially when it came to his passion for bass fishing - in which he was a member of multiple tournament clubs. His fellow fishermen were an extension of his family and he revered them and reveled in every opportunity to share his love of the sport and the challenge of the competitions with them. He shared the same feelings toward his military brothers and sisters and was a proud veteran, taking time to honor the fallen that came before and after his duty and enjoyed every opportunity he had to talk with fellow service members when he had the chance. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, parents and siblings and life-long friends over game nights and casual visits, all of whom he loved very much and did his best to make sure he made time for everybody.
Eric's legacy is one of faith, resilience, hope, love and always anxiously anticipating what would come next. He offered himself anatomically so that even after death he could continue to give of himself to those who needed it.
Eric is preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents and his cousin and childhood playmate Kristin Guyes Krueger. He is survived by his wife Tamara, his son Cameron, and his daughters Tiffany and Erica along with his Mother Conni (Wolfe) Stiles, father David Stiles, brother Anthony Stiles, sister Marlo (Chad) Stiles, sister Lisa (Wolfe) Timm along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
A celebration of life will be held later in Spring and notifications / details will be sent out at a later date. His wish was for all of us to draw comfort by the 23rd Psalm. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in Eric's honor.
