IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ernie
Kerker
December 6, 1958 – November 25, 2023
Ernie, an embodiment of old-school charm and timeless values, peacefully passed away on November 25th, 2023. Ernie was born on December 6th, 1958, to Edmund Kerker and Minnie Kerker (Metoxen), in Green Bay, WI. He embraced life with a spirit as free as the open road, on which he loved to ride his Harley on. Ernie was a devoted father, grandfather and friend, whose presence lit up every room he entered.
An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Ernie found joy in the rumble of his bike and the wind in his face. The roar of engines was music to his ears, and he enjoyed the thrill of the ride. Ernie was not only a skilled rider but also a NASCAR enthusiast, finding excitement and camaraderie in the world of racing.
Professionally, he dedicated most of his career and expertise to Quality Truck Care Center, where his skills as a mechanic were evident in every project he undertook. He had a natural talent for working on cars and enjoyed doing so with his four sons.
Beyond his mechanical ability, Ernie was a family man through and through. His love for his children, grandchildren and extended family was unparalleled. Known for his reliability and wisdom, Ernie was a source of guidance and support for those fortunate enough to know him.
Ernie is preceded in death by both of his parents and is survived by his four children: Ed "Buddy" Kerker, Ernest "Tex" Kerker, Evan Kerker and Ethan Kerker. Ernie also adored his grandchildren: Madison Kerker, Jordan Kerker, Kylee Kerker, Axel Kerker, Addison Kerker, Braxtyn Spierings and Dawson Kerker, who all called him Little Papa. He is also survived by Christine Kalkofen who is the mother of his children and Nicole (Nikki) Laurent who is the mother of his grandson Jordan. He is also survived by many extended family members who he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere. To extend online condolences, please visit www.ryanfh.com.

Rest in peace, dear Ernie. Your spirit will forever ride on in our hearts.
