Eugenia "Jeanne" Kiefer October 8, 1928 – March 25, 2022 Jeanne Kiefer passed on from this life on Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Allouez Parkside Village facility. Jean was born Eugenia Marie Wood in 1927 in Green Bay, to parents Eli and Mae Wood. She married John P. Kiefer in 1950. She spent her long life in Green Bay, raised her 6 children on the west side of town and spent every summer since 1964 with her extended family at the family cottage on Deadman Lake near Lakewood, WI. She was an avid reader, hospital volunteer, loved to play bridge, golf, and bocce ball, and spent many winters in Naples, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Lois Middleton and brother Ronald Wood. Her husband passed away in 2019 and her son Joseph died in 2016. She is survived by 5 of her children, Jack Kiefer (Michelle), Tom Kiefer (Barb), Paul Kiefer (Nancy), Molly Welker (Jeff) and Barbara Seidl (Jeff); 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends may call after 3:00PM Thursday March 31, 2022, at Resurrection Catholic Church 333 Hilltop Dr. Green Bay, until Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00PM with Fr. Tom Reynebeau officiating.
