Eunice Mae Van Caster, age 85 passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2024. She was born on July 16, 1938 in Pound, WI to Joseph and Anna (Mraz) Shevy. She graduated from Menominee High School in Menominee, MI.
When she was younger, she spent time working at her family's general store. Eunice loved to volunteer at church, play cards, and spend time with her friends. In her younger days, she enjoyed bowling at her bowling club. Eunice also enjoyed family road trips to the Upper Peninsula and Door County.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa (Jason) Kuchenbecker, step-son Daniel (Stacy) Van Caster, grandchildren, Kayla, Kimberly, Merle, Dalton, Callico, Ella, and Miller, as well as numerous great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Lorraine Long, Delmar (Sally) Shevy, and Delma Clark as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gail, her parents Joseph and Anna, her father and mother-in-law, Mary and Mark, siblings, Norman (Marlene) Shevy, and Alan Shevy, brothers-in-law Marvin Long, Mark Van Caster, and Russel Anderson, and sister-in-law Dona Anderson.
Friends and family may call to Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere WI 54115 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM on Friday, March 1, 2024. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM with Pastor Kirk Leach officiating. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
