Eunice Senaah Siebert, 92, Wayside, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 13, 2026.
She was born May 26, 1934, to the late Irwin and Leona (Uecker) Schwahn.
Eunice was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Morrison, and on June 6, 1953, she married Gilbert Siebert. They were married for 64 years.
She had worked as a telephone operator in Wayside, before moving on to Ariens, and working there for twenty-seven years.
She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside.
Eunice enjoyed picking strawberries, babysitting her grandchildren, puzzle books, and playing cards. She especially liked the 40 queen when playing 500 Rummy, which is the queen of spades that is worth 40 points. She looked forward to Monday cards playing Sheepshead with her in-laws, and drinking their “Monday specials”.
Eunice is survived by her children, David Siebert, Faye (Don) Lorrigan, and Amy (Brian) Bowers. Her grandchildren: Jen (Rodd) Reichardt, Lisa (Geoff) Davis, Lori (Korey) Klister, Chad (Dana) Lorrigan, Brittany Bowers (friend Tyler), and Michaela Bowers. Great-grandchildren: Lily, Emma, Rory, Donovan, Sebastian, Joe (Abby), Sydney, Maya, William, Tyson, Beau, Tucker, Aiden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gilbert, as well as her siblings, Gertrude, Erna, Verna, Elda, Lyle, her father and mother-in-law and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church, 8378 County Road W, Greenleaf (Wayside), Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM, until time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kyle Wangelin officiating. Nickel Funeral Home in Morrison is assisting the family.
