Florence Berry-Wilson, 87, of De Pere, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, April 30, 2013 at a local nursing home. The daughter of the late Julius and Sophia (Juskiewicz) Klauss was born May 21, 1925 in Kenosha. She married Robert L. Berry on June 25, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1985. She then married Irving "Curly" Wilson and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Over the years, Florence had worked in office support services at several locations including St Elizabeth Hospital, St. Catherine Hospital, Green Bay Aging and Resource Center, Kenosha News and Kenosha Sheriff Department.
Survivors include one son, Claude (Cindy) Berry, two daughters, Dia (Dennis) Larson, Lori Tesch, one son-in-law, Bill Lupi, twelve grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, one daughter, Roberta Lupi as well as two sisters, Claudia Konieczko, Ernestine Zaleski and one brother, Raymond Klauss.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Friday May 3, 2013. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, Suburban Drive at Lourdes Avenue, De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Saturday at the church with Father Tim Shillcox, officiating. Burial will be held at the Veteran's Cemetery in Union Grove at a later date.
