Florence R. Haskins, 88, passed away on November 1, 2018. She was born in Maribel on March 22, 1930 to the late Norman and Alma (Loppnow) Knuth, Sr.
On June 2, 1951 Florence married Cal Haskins.
Florence was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, singing in the choir and as a Ladies Aid member. She also enjoyed quilting, card making, woodworking, an artist of many mediums and baking bread. Florence belonged to the German Singers and was also a member of the Accordian Club and involved in the Big Sisters Program for many years. Florence owned her own business, Florence's Electrolysis, for over 50 years.
Florence is survived by her children; Steven (Ginny) Haskins, Rodney Haskins and Marie Haskins. She is further survived by her grandchildren; Nicole (Chad) Vanderheyden, Steven Michael (Michelle) Haskins, Rachel Haskins, Jacolyn (Chris) Valenta, Samuel Haskins; eight great grandchildren; her brother, Norm (Audrey) Knuth and her sister-in-law, Doris Van Zeeland.
In addition to her husband, Florence was preceded in death by her two sisters, one sister-in-law and four brothers-in-law
Friends may call on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 12PM until 3PM at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere. Visitation continues on Monday, November 5 from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM at St Paul Lutheran Church, 514 S. Clay Street, Green Bay. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
