Fred C. Bengsch, 62, Howard, passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on Tuesday morning. He was born July 11, 1953 to the late Arthur and Gertrude Bengsch. Fred was a graduate of Adams-Friendship High School. After high school, Fred served in the United States Air Force, before going on to UWGB, graduating with a degree in Managerial Accounting and getting his CPA license. In 1991, he met Gail Van Schyndel, and they married in 1992. Fred was employed as a CPA at Evans, Race, and Van Dreel in Green Bay. In their spare time, he and Gail worked at Northern Inventory Service. An avid reader, with a gifted mathematical mind, Fred enjoyed all sports and truly was a kind and gentle soul. He is survived by his wife Gail, his brother Frank (Barb) Bengsch, and their son Kevin. Fred is further survived by Gail's family; Joan (Tom) Vanden Branden, Mary Lynn (Wayne) Bero, and Janice (Glenn) Hewitt, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents.
