Fred C. Szarzak, 70, of De Pere, died at home on Monday June 15, 2009. The son of the late Carl and Helen (Gubala) Szarzak was born in Chicago on January 3, 1939. Fred proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an avid bowler and fisherman. Fred was survived by one son Mark Szarzak, two daughters Lisa (Mike) Vaughan and Keli (John) Hooyman, two grandchildren, Tony Vaughan and Kori Hooyman, as well as one sister Carolyn (Frank) Gagliardo and brother Daniel (Pam) Szarzak. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Michael Kaminski.
