Frederick "Fred" Schroder, 94, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 after an incredible journey of life. He was born November 15, 1926. The son of the late Walter and Ingle (Aten) Schroder. After numerous life changing health issues that he amazingly overcame, God finally gave him peace. An avid wood worker, golfer, barber shopper, bowler and gardener. Fred enjoyed his final years watching and winning Jeopardy. Fred had an awe-inspiring way of recalling numerous scientific facts and could recite in order all 46 presidents. He will be missed by his daughter, Gail Schroder and Jack Maloney, De Pere; daughter, Doris (Gary) Schreck, Menomonee Falls; son, Carl (Darla) Schroder, Waterloo, IA.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, supportive niece, Patty Martin and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Laverne Schroder; his parents; and his sister Harriet Ball. A farewell party to honor and celebrate Fred's life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to his numerous Unity Hospice care givers, including Wendy and faithful dogs Woodrow and Josie.
