Gail Ann Genereau, 71, Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was born September 18, 1950, to the late Albert and Dorothy Nienhaus. On September 1, 1973, she married Paul Genereau. Gail was fascinated in studying genealogy and loved to travel the world alongside Paul. She is survived by her husband Paul, three siblings: Norman (Sandra) Nienhaus, Gloria (Ron) Stellman, Loreen (Barbara) Nienhaus, as well as nieces and nephews. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother Nolan. Friends may call from 3:00PM - 6:00PM on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere. A service for Gail will take place at 5:00PM. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. The Genereau family requests no flowers or plants please. Memorials may be sent to Shriners Children's Hospital, Chicago in Gails' name. Masks are asked to be worn by all attending.
