Gary D. Nejedlo, age 67, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on January 4, 1951 to the late Earl and Regina (Groeschel) Nejedlo. Following high school, Gary entered the Marine Corps, serving his country proudly in Vietnam. After returning home, he spent much of his free time riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed the time spent with his family outdoors or going to rummage sales and recycling metal. He was very involved in the Vietnam Veterans Ch. 224 as well as the VFW legion and color guard in Howard.
Gary is survived by his children: David (Heather) Nejedlo, Tonya Dunks, and Dale Dunks; grandchildren: Austyn and Riley; siblings: Elaine, Ginger, Tom, and Val; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and brother, Richard.
Friends and family may visit on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N 10th Street, De Pere. There will be a time for sharing of memories as well as military honors at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, there will be a memorial fund established in Gary's name.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the St. Vincent Hospital ICU for their care and compassion for Gary in his final days.
