George Bruce House of Oneida, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Born in Green Bay, George was the son of the late George and Ethel (Charles) House. George was married to Darlene Gerlikowski on September 26, 1999, in Las Vegas. George was a great person to be around-always kind, generous, and full of life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. George's family has been in the construction business his entire life. Considered a master stone mason by those in his trade, George had an what you call "an eye for the stone". You can see George's stone masonry work all over the Oneida reservation, having laid the brick and stone on the Oneida Elementary School, Oneida apartments, and many other structures or fireplaces made of brick or stone. Long retired, George and Darlene loved to spend their time traveling and visiting friends and family. George was also a retired member of the Magneto's MC. George is survived by his wife Darlene; his son Kevin (Diane) House Sr. and daughter Tina House. He is also survived by his brother Jerry (Sherry) House, and sisters Alberta Metoxen, Judy (Gary) Smits, and Nancy Rasmussen. He is further survived by his grandchildren Richard, Kelly, Krista, Kevin, Nicole (Kyle), Joshua, and Tyler; and great-grand-children Caylee, Elsa, and Leland. His dogs Lacy and Porter House will really miss George too. George was preceded in death by his parents George and Ethel House; brother Richard House; and sister Diane Theissen; In-laws Ray and Fern Gerlikowski; brothers-in-law Jack Gerlikowski, Tom Rasmussen, and Gerald Metoxen; and his dogs Bear and Lucy. Friends and family may visit after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, until the prayer service which will be held at 7:00 PM. A special thank you to Kevin and Ricky for always being there for George. A special thanks to Dr. Flood at the Oneida Health Center, and to Dr. Wienshel, Dr. Nusrat and the 6th floor ICU staff at St. Vincent's Hospital for taking such great care of him during his last days.
