George A. Sarkis, 90, Green Bay, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 7th at his home at 3336 Davies Avenue. He was born in Green Bay on November 28, 1926 to Jim and Sarah Sarkis. George worked as a grocer with his father and sister Betty and then as an appraiser purchasing right of way for the City. He enjoyed attending mass daily at St. Willebrord Church where he was a lector. He attended St. Patrick's Grade School, Central High School (Class of 1944) and was a member of the Norbertine Community for a short time. He is survived by his wife Rosemary; children: Mary Ann, Jim, Ann, Carolyn and David; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 grand puppies. He was preceded in death by his daughters Kathleen, Karen and Chrissy. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, Green Bay on Saturday March 11, 2017 starting with visitation at 9:30am and followed by mass at 10:30am.
