George A. Stiltjes, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024. George was born on November 30, 1933 to the late John and Maila (Carpenter) Stiltjes at home in Lawrence, WI. He attended Wrightstown High School.

George was a lifelong hunter and fisherman. He loved flying around Crooked Lake on his jet ski. George also liked taking people for rides on his pontoon. He was an animal lover, and often fed the birds and deer in his yard. He really loved spending time with his family.

George is survived by his sister Sara Gauger, brother Clarence (Jackie) Stiltjes, sister-in-law Virginia Stiltjes, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, his parents, John and Maila, and brother Ivan Stiltjes.

Friends may come to call on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere, WI. A family led service will begin immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all family and friends that helped to care for George.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Hospital in George's memory would be appreciated.
