Jerry J. Ambrosius, 66, of Lakewood, formerly of De Pere, passed away on Wednesday morning January 9, 2013, after a short illness. He was born January 17, 1946 in Green Bay to Harold Ambrosius and the late Lila (Kuske) Ambrosius. On June 11, 1966 he married Pat Mooren. Jerry was in Auto sales for 25 yrs. with Van Boxtel Ford in Green Bay, and 6 yrs. with S&L Motors in Pulaski. He was an avid NASCAR and Packer fan, and enjoyed time "up north", and being with his family and cat Muffin. Jerry is survived by his wife Pat, his children; Sherry (Jim) Ziebarth, Dan (Tawni) Ambrosius, his grandchildren; Marissa, Londyn, Gage, Chase, Broc, and Koy. Jerry's dad, Harold Ambrosius, his siblings; Bonnie (John) Van Lanen, Harold (Donna) Ambrosius Jr., Lori (Wayne) Mostek, Rick (Shelly) Ambrosius, and Pat's family as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends survive. Preceding him in death were his mom Lila, his in-laws Sylvester and Lillian Mooren, and Jerry's brother in law Dave Mooren. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 3 7 pm Friday, January 11, 2013. Visitation will continue after 9am Saturday at the funeral home until time of service at 10:30am with Deacon Bobby Doxtator officiating.
