Gerald F. Baumgartner age 70 of De Pere passed away peacefully after a 6 month battle with lung cancer. He was born July 9, 1941 to the late Joseph and Arlene Baumgartner. On June 25, 1994 he married Sharon Goerl. Jerry was an avid fisherman who loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed working with his hands and build things for his family. Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon, his children; Lori (Don) MacVittie, Lynn (Tim) Bostedt, Cheri (Joel) Conover, and Jeremy (Breanna) Baumgartner, Thomas Jordan, and Elizabeth Holl. His grandchildren; Korey, Galina, Victoria, Jacob, Brooklyn, Jonathan, Ethan, Michaela, Alexandra, Julia, Logan, Owen, Nathaniel, Ian, and Samantha, as well as his great granddaughter Savanah. Jerry's brothers also survive; Gene (Bonnie), James (Marge), Don (Helen) and Tom (Judy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his nephew Kevin Baumgartner, and his niece Penny Baumgartner. Jerry's family invites family and friends to stop by the Sports Corner, 500 Grant Street De Pere from 3 7pm on Wednesday December 14, 2011 to share stories about Jerry.
