Obituary

Gerald Clarence Christopherson, 75, passed away at home in Abrams on July 11th, 2026. Jerry was born November 3, 1950, to Clarence and Eleanor (Kleczewski) Christopherson. They resided in the Pulaski area.

Jerry attended Pulaski high school and left to pursue his music career with Sidekicks band where he sang, played lead guitar and mandolin. Jerry had 2 main passions in life; first God and second music. He wrote over 300 songs and practiced his instruments daily. He could play anything with strings. He spent several years of his life working at the shoe factory in Pulaski and at US Plant Foods.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, first wife Barbara Wellens, his brother Daryl, baby sister Betty Marie, in-laws Julius (Buzz) and June Kossik and Al and Catherine Wellens.

Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Patty Kossik, stepdaughter Cherie (Jon) Cadieux, grandchildren Nathan (Aleta) Cadieux, Adam Cadieux and great Grandchild Jackson Cadieux, 2 brothers Virgil and Allan (Jenny), sister Beverly Olejniczek two brothers-in-law, Larry Olejniczek and Ron Kossik 5 sisters-in-law, Betty, Jacki, Mary Kossik, Mary Siporski and Jenny Christopherson and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
