Gerald "Jerry" House, age 68 of Green Bay, passed away peacefully March 27, 2022, with his wife Sherry of 49 years at his side. Jerry was born July 6, 1953, in Green Bay, WI to the late George & Ethel (Charles) House. He married Sherry Jones on June 17, 1972, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Jerry worked construction all his life starting under his father at George House Construction. Upon George's retirement Jerry took over and ran George House Construction. Jerry also worked with the Oneida Nation, R-Team Construction and Arrowhead Trucking with his son Jamie. After his retirement Jerry enjoyed his Saturday morning breakfasts with his family and friends. Jerry also enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his granddaughters. Jerry is survived by his wife Sherry; daughter Tammy (Geoff) Umentum and their children, Briana, Wyatt, and Abigail; son Jamie (Leida) House and their children, Sydney, Jaelyn, and Elly. As well as his great grandchildren Roman and Isabella. Jerry is further survived by his siblings; Judy (Gary) Smits, Nancy Rasmussen, and Alberta Metoxen. His father-in-law Lavern Jones, sister-in-law Jeanne Braun, brothers-in-law Dale Jones, Dennis (Angie) Jones and sister-in-law Darlene House. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents George & Ethel House, siblings Richard House, George (Bruce) House, Diane Theissen, nephew Robert Smits, brothers-in-law Thomas Rasmussen, Gerald Metoxen, and his mother-in-law Myrna Jones. Friends may call after 2:00PM Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, until time of service at 7:00PM. Burial will take place Friday at Ft. Howard Memorial Park. The family would like to first and foremost thank the family as well as the doctors and healthcare specialists who helped with Jerry.
