Gerald "Jerry" Joseph Johnson was born in Marinette, WI on Jan. 5, 1944 to Clarence J. Johnson and Beatrice M. Bellisle. He is survived by sisters, Judith (Patrick) Richardson of Tipton, IN and Dawn (Bruce) Falkenberg of Rosemount, MN. Also, guardian, Stephen Richardson of Republic, MO., caregivers Jessica Trudell and Matthew Jasmer of De Pere, WI, and special friend Debbie Bowman of Green Bay, WI. Also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding him in death were his father Clarence J. Johnson; mother Beatrice M. (Bellisle) Johnson Kass, stepfather, Nicholas Kass, and brother, Dennis P. Johnson, Sr. He was a long-time resident of Marinette, WI. For the last 10 years he resided in the De Pere home of Jessica Trudell. For several years Jerry worked with ASPIRO organization and participated in activities with Paragon Community Services and Special Olympics in the Green Bay/ De Pere are. Family and friends may visit on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette on Monday.
