Gerald Lee LaPlante, 73, resident of Green Bay, passed away on January 27, 2023. He was born on June 12, 1949 to Fern Folger and Ralph LaPlante. On February 6, 1971, he was married to Valerie Smith in Oneida, WI.

Gerald is survived by his wife Valerie, his children, Lynn and her daughter Angela (Hunter), and their son Zepplin, Brian (Rhonda) and his children, Devin, Lance, Brian Jr., and Carter, and Jesse (Bonnie). He is also survived by siblings, Wayne, Bev, Janette (Pixie), and numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law Verda, Rose, Selma, and Betty and brothers-in-law Cecil, David, and Mal Jr (Judy).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fern and Ralph.

Friends and family may come to call on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 10:00-12:00 PM at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere, WI. A service will be held immediately following the visitation with military honors to follow.
