Geraldine (Geri) M. Christian, 81, De Pere, went to her eternal home in heaven on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015. She was born to the late Hubert and Martha (Virlee) LaLuzerne on Dec. 7, 1933. She graduated from East De Pere High School and she worked at Pauly Cheese where she met and married Donald Christian on Sept. 1, 1956. Geri was a member of the VFW Auxiliary #2113 De Pere and the Military Order of Cooties Aux. Puptent #23 Green Bay. Geri's grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She enjoyed watching them in countless activities such as sports, theatre and dance. She loved playing cards, softball, going to VFW and Cooties conventions and her Tuesday morning Breakfast Club with her friends. Geraldine is survived by her husband, Donald; their four sons, Jeffrey (Rachel) Christian, Kewaunee; Steven (Mary) Christian, De Pere; Craig Christian, De Pere; Scott (Laurie) Christian, Green Bay; a daughter, Kim (Robb) Devine, De Pere. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Ashley, Jeremy, Casey, Ross, Karley, Emilee, Tristen & Sondra Christian, Jacob Devine; a brother, Gerald (Kathy) LaLuzerne, Arlington, TX, sister-in-law, Loretta Barber, De Pere; and her nieces and nephews. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Martha LaLuzerne, and her inlaws; Bill and Velma Christian, her son Paul, her daughter, Martha Velma, brother and sister-in-law Jules (Marge) LaLuzerne and her brother's-in-law Don Barber, Bill (Iola) Christian. Family and friends may call RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 4 7pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015, with a Ladies Auxiliary service at 7pm to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue after 9am Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive in De Pere until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
