Geraldine E. (Carter) Rottier age 90 of De Pere passed away peacefully surrounded by her children early Tuesday morning, October 10, 2023. She was born December 10, 1932 in Colby, WI to the late Alfred and Leona (Van Dreel) Carter. On October 18, 1952 she married Bernard Rottier at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay.

She was a member of St. Boniface Church and Our Lady of Lourdes in De Pere throughout her life. She dedicated her life to raising her children and loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed many friendships throughout her long life as well as the time spent traveling with her husband, friends, and siblings. She also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.

She is survived by her sons; Jim (Beckie) Rottier, Dale (Shelly) Rottier, her daughters; Diane McInnis, Sandy (Joe) Slimmer, Debbie (Greg) VandenLangenberg, her grandchildren; Chad (Kara), Jessica (Brian), Cheryl (Jim), Bryan (Lonni), Robert (Claudia), Will (Kate), Andrew (Rachel), Evan (Becca), Erin (Andrew), Eric (Cheyenne), Zak (Amber), Aaron; and 26 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Melvin (Marlene) Carter and Shirley Zettler. Brothers and sisters in law that survive her include; Roman Schreiber, Dick (Mary) Rottier, Jan Rottier, Peck (Joyce) Rottier, Harvey (Alice) Rottier, Bob Rottier, Cathy Rottier and Jean Rottier, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard, son in law Ken McInnis, her siblings Arlene (Herb) Weiland, Marcella Schreiber, Ron (Marcia) Carter, and Tony Zettler; in laws Patricia (Bob) Goffard, Gerald (Janice) Rottier, Jim Rottier, Ray Rottier, Rita (Dale) Van Erem and Jean Rottier.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13 from 9:00AM – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Corner of Lourdes Avenue & Suburban Drive, 1305 Lourdes Ave, De Pere, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held following the visitation at 11:00AM.

Mom will be remembered for her loving support, grandma cookies, and all the fun and adventures that were had at her house. We will miss you Mom and Grandma!
