Obituary

Geraldine "Geri" Villalobos (nee Schuyler), died on April 5, 2024 in Oneida. Geri was born on March 21, 1949 in Milwaukee to the late Melvin and Phyllis (nee Smith) Schuyler. She graduated from West Division High School in Milwaukee in 1967. Geri also graduated from MATC and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in 1971, with certifications in X-Ray, CT and MRI.

She worked in the radiology field for over 44 years, from 1971 through 2009. She worked at several hospitals and clinics in the Milwaukee area; Family Hospital; St. Francis Hospital; Trinity Memorial Hospital, V.A. Zablocki Medical Center and Children's Hospital of Wis. Geri also worked at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Geri was a member of the Oneida Tribe of Wisconsin, Bear Clan. She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, reading, researching her family history and playing bingo, she also enjoyed the craft classes at Seots in Milwaukee and also the Oneida Elder Center. Geri loved cheering for the Packers on Sunday.

Geri is survived by her daughter, Sara (Omri) Deida; grandchildren, Isaac and Isidro; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Geri is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Chief Cornelius Hill; grandparents, Oscar and Mary F. (nee Hill) Smith, Jonas and Abbie (nee Doxtater) Schuyler, her sisters Marlene (Fr. Dewey) Silas, Sandra Gerhardt and her twin sister Bernadine Schuyler.

Visitation for Geri will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth St., De Pere, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with Oneida Singers at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at Holy Apostles Church in Oneida on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The Oneida Hymn Singers will begin at 10:30. Geri was a very special sister to Marlene, Sandra & Bernadine and an amazing grandma to her boys. She will be greatly missed.
