Gladys A. Stevens, 80, Oneida, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday August 6, 2019. She was born October 14, 1938 to the late George and Rose (Cross) Gauthier. She was united in marriage to George Conway, and he preceded her in death, she then married Edward Stevens, and he also preceded her in death. Gladys had worked at Anna John Nursing Home as an LPN. She was a proud member of the Keeweenaw Bay Indian Community. She enjoyed going to casino, as well as crafts of all sorts, but it was time with her family that she cherished the most. She is survived by her daughter; Tisa (Cal) Thelen, her twin sister; Gertrude Jones, as well as grandchildren. Great grandchildren. Great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her son Tom Ray Conway, daughters; Georgia Ann Conway, Carol Jean Conway, as well as her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may call after 9:00AM Saturday August 10, 2019 at Oneida Methodist Church, until time of service at 11:00AM. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
