Gloria A. Smith, 78, Wausaukee, was welcomed in the arms of her loving husband Richard on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Theda Care of Neenah. She was born June 14, 1943, in Trenton, Tenn., the daughter of the late Floyd and Lillian Maupin. On September 30, 1961, Gloria married the love of her life Richard in Chicago, IL. Gloria worked at Emerson Electric and Piggly Wiggly for several years. Gloria enjoyed going to church, the casino, thrift store shopping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gloria is survived by her children: Richard (Chris) Smith, David Smith, and Rhonda Smith; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-greatgrandchildren; God child, Richard Jorgenson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; Mr. and Mrs. Buster Boiling and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Doxtater. Family and friends may visit The Message Community Church (N12094 US- 141), Wausaukee, WI on Saturday, June 11, 2022, beginning at 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Services will be held at 3:00PM. Those left to cherish her beloved memory are lifetime friends and family.
