Harvey Lawrence Bartels, 82, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday morning, February 11, 2025. He was born April 22, 1942, to August and Emma (Keuken) Bartels in Green Bay.

Harvey graduated from West De Pere High School. On May 25, 1963, he married Judy Van Derven at St. Boniface Church in De Pere, "and every day was a honeymoon". Harvey was never more content than when he was up north at his cottage.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Todd (Cathy) of New Berlin, Tony (Anita) of Columbus, and Julie (Mark) Hickmann of Kiel. He is further survived by seven granddaughters and five great-grandchildren, as well as in-laws Rosemary Bartels, Jerry Drewiske and Tom Van Derven.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joe Bartels, Linda Krause, Rachel (Gordon) Kempf, Edna (Benedict) Verhoven, Bernice (Sylvester) Verhoven, and infant brother John Bartels; as well as in-laws Marlene Drewiske and Janet Van Derven.

Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 4:00 p.m.
