Hazel Smits, 92, De Pere, passed away on Thursday morning, January 18, 2024. She was born October 29, 1931, to the late Art and Clara Greatens.

Hazel graduated from St. Joseph Academy.

She was united in marriage to Harold Smits.

Hazel ran Hazel's Wild Onion Supper Club for nine years before retiring.

She is survived by her children; Ron (Barb) Smits, Randy (Cheryl) Smits, Gale (Dan) Pierre, and daughter-in-law Kathy Smits. Grandchildren; Bradly, Tricia (Ben), Corey (Victoria), Christopher (Bobbi), Jason (Erin), Jennifer (Dean), Andrew, Alana, Joel (Veronica, and Michael (Lazarus). Her great grandchildren, Bennett, Kellan, Elora, Ryker, Bodey, Isabella, Weston, and Mason.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, two sons: Wayne and Rickey, as well as her brother Norbert (Betty) Greatens.

You are welcome to join the family for committal prayer at 2:30PM on Monday, January 22nd at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
