Helen Isabele Arce, 67 of Oneida, WI, passed away surrounded by family on September 16, 2026. Helen was born on August 30, 1959, in Chicago, IL to the late José and Alfredia (Danforth) Franco. Helen married John Arce on Jan 31, 1976.
Helen was a proud Christian, and she loved spending time with her family. She was very loving towards everyone, and always made time for those who needed her. She never said no to anyone. She enjoyed reading, writing, and praying often.
She also nurtured her grandchildren, teaching them to read and develop important skills, as well as teaching them Christian values. She often found peace in the beauty of nature and would spend time relaxing and reading her bible outdoors while enjoying a fig or two.
Helen is survived by her loving husband John, her children, Michael (Tanya), Joseph (Julia and her son Aiven), Eric, and Thomas, grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Anthony, Joshua, Jordan, Xandir, Javon, Christian, and 2 great-granddaughters Aria and Aurora. She is further survived by her siblings, William “Willy” Franco, Eugene Franco, and Wilma Chavez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Kenny, Jesus “Jesse”, and John.
Family and friends may come to call on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Assembly of God Church, N7321 Olson Rd, Oneida, WI 54155. The Oneida Hymn Singer Song Service will begin at 11:30 AM. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation with Pastor Joel Cornelius officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
