Helen Marie Huebner, of De Pere, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at the age of 100. The daughter of the late Fred and Louise (Henrikowski) Zirbel was born on January 22, 1914 in De Pere. On August 17, 1934, she married Arthur Huebner at St. John's Lutheran Church, in De Pere. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1990. Helen enjoyed cooking, gardening, and puzzles. She was especially proud of her sons, and reaching two milestones; 50 years of marriage, and 100 years of life. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Susanne) Huebner, Baja, Mexico, and Roy (Jean) Huebner, Franklin, WI. Helen is further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings. Friends and family are encouraged to gather at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1700 Lost Dauphin Drive, De Pere, WI, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Viewing from 10:00am until 11:00am, followed by the funeral service, Rev. Brian W. Cain and Rev. Andrea L. Cain officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
