Irene L. Renier, 99, of Green Bay passed away on Sunday December 5, 2010. She was born May 4, 1911 in Green Bay to the late Chris and Martha (Moser) Hansen. On February 9, 1929 she married Edmund Renier. Irene loved to Bake, and Cook. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay. She is survived by her son David Renier, her daughter in law Mae Renier, her grandchildren; Chris (Julie) Renier, Paul Renier, Catherine (Todd) Hendricks, and Heather (Mark) Ellis. Irene is further survived by 6 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund, her son Richard Renier, her daughter in law Charlotte Renier, and her sister and brother in law Lorraine and Marvin Nelson. Friends may call after 10am Wednesday December 8, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church 321 S. Madison Street Green Bay,. The funeral service for Irene will be held at 11am with Pastor Julie Wrubbel-Lange officiating. Burial to follow in Fort Howard Cemetery. The Ryan Funeral Home De Pere is assisting the family.
