Irvin Jonas Metoxen, Jr, 77, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Green Bay on May 27, 1948, to the late Irvin Sr. and Sadie Metoxen.

On July 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Sandy Webster at Immaculate Conception Church. Irvin worked in maintenance for the Oneida Nation for 47 years until he retired in 2020.

Irvin is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy; his four children Bill (Kim), Irvin (Jonas) III, Christopher and Brittany; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

He is further survived by three sisters, Bev King, Pat Danforth and Sandra Danforth; sisters-in-law Debbie (Jerry Cornelius) Melchert, Vicki (Berne) Johnson, Peggy (Dan) Bork; brother-in-law Joe (Julie) Webster and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Irvin Sr. (Sadie) Metoxen; father and mother-in-law Joe (Helen) Webster; a sister Frieda, brother Rollie and his in-laws Geno Danforth, Brenda Webster, Christopher Melchert, Robert Bristol and Julie King Hill.

Friends and family may visit Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N 10th Street in De Pere on Monday, June 23, 2025. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm with the Oneida Hymn Singers starting at 3:30pm until the time of service at 4:00pm.
