Jack Larry Zirbel, 71, resident of Pembine, WI passed away on May 30, 2023. He was born on August 3, 1951, to Elise Bertha and Arnold Zirbel in New London, WI. Jack married his best friend Betty on May 21, 1988, in De Pere, WI.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother Elise, father Arnold, sister Karen, brothers Gerhardt, Clarendon, Darnell and his twin James. He is survived by wife Betty Zirbel, sisters Beverly, Janet, Darlene, Charlotte, Sandra, Irene and Victoria as well as brothers La Wayne, Orin, and Argel.

Loving Betty's children as his own, Jack had the greatest pleasure of spending time with Kathleen Pokel (David) and Lisa Hutjens. Grandchildren include Ashley Pokel (Nathan), Caitlin Pokel and Dana Pokel (Goddaughter).

Great-grandchildren include Ella Bergeron, Willow Bergeron (Goddaughter) and Connor Pokel.

Jack and Betty always enjoyed their time together with friends from Harley-Davidson and the Forever Riders group as extended family. If he wasn't out on the motorcycle, you'd be sure to find Jack in the woods, whether it was "Up North" or sitting around the fire at one of the many campsites he visited over the years. Jack was an outdoors man through and through.

Building a cabin for himself and wife Betty, their home in Pembine, WI will always be the place of many wonderful memories Jack will be passing down to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. From the holiday gator rides to picking black strawberries along the trail, to the occasional bear spotting, Jack shared numerous adventures with those he loved over the years.

Being part of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives was something Jack took to heart. He gladly escorted his grandchildren to father daughter dances alongside David, passed on his love of WWE to Willow, and if Hopalong Cassidy was on the television, you knew better than to touch that remote.

Please join us Tuesday June 6, 2023, at Ryan Funeral Home in De Pere, WI for visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a short prayer and words from family at 11:00 am. To follow, we ask you to head over to Vandervest Harley-Davidson in the Duck Blind for lunch starting at 12:00 pm. We will have Jack's motorcycle on display to honor him one last time.
