Jacqueline "Jackie" R. Way, 70, Kewaunee, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, May 20, 2010. She was born December 31, 1939 in Green Bay, WI a daughter of the late Edward A. and Mary (Kolosso) Halstead. On January 24, 1959 Jackie married Melvin Way. Jackie enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, cooking, and Christmas shopping. She was also a 4-H leader. Jackie is survived by her husband Melvin, Kewaunee; children Carrie (Brian) Dowd, Kewaunee, John (Kathy) Way, Wausau, and Timmy (Wendy) Way, Tomahawk; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Jean Gerstner and nieces and nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Cindy Way; brothers Edward T, Robert, and Gerald; sister Mary; and her father and mother-in-law Elden and Arlene (Gunther) Way. Visitation for Jackie will be Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Bridge Point Church, 2421 West Point Rd, Green Bay, from 10:00 AM until time of service.
