James "Jimmy" E. Braaten, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014. He was born August 15, 1961 to Alfrieda Grignon and the late Lester Braaten. Jimmy was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR, and camping. He loved his family especially his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother Alfrieda, his siblings; Lisa (Terry) Metoxen, Kelly, Susan, Blair (Michelle), and Pam and family. Jim is further survived by lifelong family friend, Mick (Villa) McWilliams, his "Special Brother" Brian Brown, numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father Lester Braaten, his brothers Jerel Grignon and Worden Krueger, Jr., and grandparents, Michael (Inez) Grignon. Family and friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Oneida Singers at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Oneida United Methodist Church, N6037 County Rd E, Oneida, WI.
