James P. "Izzy" Francart, 65, De Pere, died early Christmas morning, December 25, 2015. He was born December 11, 1950 in De Pere, a son of the late Israel and Marie (DeWilde) Francart.
Izzy was a lifelong truck driver having worked for Richco, Callaway Carriers, and spending the last 20+ years with VS Midwest Carriers. He was a sports enthusiast and a member of Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Whitetails Unlimited, and National Wild Turkey Federation. He was also a lifelong member of the Magneto's MC-retired.
James is survived by his brother Herbert (Sandy) Francart, IL; three sisters: Lucille Johnson, IL, Carol Wichman, Waunakee, and Mary Ann (Leo) Stein, De Pere; his biological son Jason Flaig; six nieces, eight nephews, and great nieces, great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Israel and Marie Francart; brother Robert (Janet) Francart; brother-in-law William Johnson; niece JoAnn Johnson; great nephew Jeff Fromlak; and great niece Sara Berger.
Family and friends may visit from 3:00 7:00 PM on Friday, January 1, 2016 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9:00 AM to time of service at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
