Gus Gustafson, 59, De Pere, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was born November 14, 1961 to the Joan Van Lanen and late Adolph Gustafson. He was a graduate of West De Pere High School, class of 1980. Gus had worked at Vincent Metals, before going onto Hurlbut Cement, which later became Spancrete and American Concrete. Gus loved the outdoors, especially if it involved fishing, or hunting. He collected Harley Davidson shirts, enjoyed hanging with friends and was a dam good cook. He is survived by his son Allen Gustafson, two grandsons: Joseph and Andrew, his mom Joan Braunsdorf, a sister Dawn (Danny) Stoddard, his auntie Mary Van Lanen and two of many best friends Tony and Bruce. Gus was preceded in death by his dad Adolph and grandparents Alfred and Fern Van Lanen. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 1st at Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, until time of service at 7:00PM. Special thanks to Ashwaubenon Public Safety.
