James "Jim" P. Pelky, 76, Town of Oneida, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 20, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born May 16, 1936 in Shawano County, a son of the late Henry and Esther (Wichman) Pelky. On March 7, 1959, Jim married the former Winnifred "Winnie" Skenandore. Jim enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was a builder who loved working with his hands. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa, who will beloved and missed. Jim is survived by his wife Winnie Pelky; ten children: Peter (Kymberley) Pelky, Patricia (Ray) Heckner, Patrick (Lisa) Pelky, Penny Pelky, Paul (Mel) Pelkey, Kurt (Ellen) Pelky, Paige (Greg) Finkel, Kevin (Jacqueline) Pelky, Kim (Joe) Cackowski, and Kristal (Chad) Hill; 32 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters: Shirley (Richard) Wills and Elizabeth (Norbert) Young; and a brother Henry (Karen) Pelky . He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Esther Pelky; four brothers; and three sisters. Friends and family may visit at St. Joseph Catholic Church 145 St. Joseph Dr., Oneida, on Monday, September 24, 2012, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
